What We Do

The ProtectEd Suite

ProtectEd Curriculum Resources provide educators with flexible, prevention-focused instruction designed to meet Washington state requirements (RCW 28A.320.168) for grades 7–12. All materials are trauma-informed, age-appropriate, and classroom-ready, with clear guidance to support safe, confident delivery across a variety of school settings. Resources may be used by classroom teachers, counselors, administrators, or guest presenters and adapted for health classes, advisory periods, assemblies, or small-group instruction.

The ProtectEd curriculum is a standalone, 60-minute lesson that introduces students to the foundational concepts of trafficking prevention, including recognizing unsafe or manipulative situations, understanding healthy boundaries, and knowing how to seek help. This option is ideal for schools with limited instructional time or those seeking a clear, structured lesson to meet state requirements through a single class period or guest-led presentation.

For schools seeking deeper engagement, SignalEd offers a five-part modular series that expands on these core concepts through focused skill-building. SignalEd modules explore topics such as online exploitation, boundaries, refusal skills, and manipulation tactics, allowing students to practice protective behaviors over time. Modules may be taught individually or as a full series, providing flexibility for educators who want to provide more education for meaningful prevention.
