This 50-minute lesson plan for grades 7–12 is aligned with Washington State's RCW 28A.320.168 and equips students with the tools they need to identify unsafe situations, set healthy boundaries, and understand how to seek help. The material is trauma-informed, age-appropriate, and designed to be taught by classroom teachers, counselors, or guest presenters. OSPI Instructional Guidance

Washington State law (RCW 28A.320.168) requires that all students in grades 7–12 receive instruction on sex trafficking prevention by the 2025–26 school year. The OSPI Guidance Document outlines best practices for delivering this instruction in age-appropriate, trauma-informed, and inclusive ways. It provides helpful strategies for safe learning environments, student engagement, and integrating content across subjects.
